Many regard this as the apex for Neo Geo titles in terms of gameplay, audio, and graphics...and they are right. This is a fantastic and beautiful fighter that pushes the system further than any other. The attention to detail in stages and animation is unbelievable, and the roster is kept to a perfectly tolerable size. Acting as a generation shift, new hero Rock Howard (son of Geese) fights alongside an aged Terry Bogard and the amazingly-named (and Ryo Sakazaki-trained) Kushnood Butt, Andy's protege Hokutomaru, and the Kaphwan heirs Kim Dong and Kim Jae.

Gameplay is closer to King of Fighters than Fatal Fury, but the gameplay is solid through and through.
