| CONVERSION FROM ARCADE MVS TO HOME AES Amongst run-and-guns, this definitely has to be near the top. Amazing action for one or two players, the game is played from an overhead perspective. Players can beef up a single commando from a roster of 8 ("Lonely Wolf" mode) or select three individuals to cycle between in combat ("Team Battle" mode). Each character has unique abilities and weapons, making them suitable for a variety of playstyles. The action is frantic and mesmerizing. Players will chart their own course through a large map before reaching the end. Combat is fulfilling and bloody, and encourages skill with its get-close-to-melee system. Truly a great game! And look at that terrible cover somebody made for this conversion! |
