| Description |
| An interesting follow-up to the original Spriggan, eschewing the blazingly-fast overhead scrolling for a story-centric hori shmup. Continuing that trend, the ancient Japan theme is gone and the player takes the role of a futuristic mecha pilot amidst some war in space. The hook here is the strategic use of player weapons, which are doled out specifically for each mission. Each has its own mechanics, strengths and weaknesses. Cinemas are frequent--even within missions--dialogue-heavy, and who knows what the heck is going on. |
