The much ballyhooed (in my opinion, unjustly) crossover title from a then-struggling SNK Playmore, this title brings many characters from SNK history to fight--King of Fighters-style--against many from Capcom's roster. The color palette is somber (a stark contrast to Capcom's bright Capcom vs. SNK series) and the tone is bleak. Nevertheless, there's a lot to like here and there's a TON of hidden characters and secrets. Mars People, ferchrissakes!
